The second paragraph doesn’t seem to be thematically related to the title of the post or the announcement of the change of date.
I have clarified and expanded my post. I only got the information erev shabbos and I was eager to get out the date change ASAP. I plan to post more about letter writing, hopefully by chol hamoed.
