Last night the incumbent Brooklyn District Attorney, Charles J. Hynes attended a debate sponsored by Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century together with his opponents, Abe George and Kenneth Thompson. Jacob Kornbluh posted this short video segment of the candidates tussling about wrongful convictions under Hynes. A faction of the of the audience was clearly hostile to Hynes. There are also video segments of all the candidates answering a question about “stop and frisk” and one of Abe George’s opening statement. I thought Mr. George was pretty dynamic. I am eager to see more segments. I am hoping that more are posted online.
