Moshe Friedman got a sweetheart deal which kept him out of jail and off the sex offender registry when he pled guilty on February 1, 2017 to a misdemeanor charge of “child endangerment” (NY Daily News).
Some of his defenders will say he didn’t really do anything serious. Maybe he just slapped a boy who was misbehaving. But you won’t say that after you read the police report with allegations of a string of sadistic sexual tortures that led to his indictment for multiple felony acts which could have put him in prison for decades.
According to the signed and sworn police report which was the basis of his indictment: The People of the State of New York County of Kings v Moshe Friedman:
…Between September 01, 2013 … and June 06, 2014 … at … [a yeshiva in Boro Park], the defendant … on multiple incidents per month …
- Did strike the informant’s hand with defendant’s hand when informant’s hand was injured and treated with a cast
- Did place defendant’s hand on the informant’s exposed buttocks
- Did grab the informant’s penis,
- Did insert the defendant’s finger into the informant’s anus
- Did insert a banana into the informant’s anus
- Did put the defendant’s mouth on the informant’s buttocks
- Did place the informant’s penis inside the defendant’s mouth
- Did bite the informant’s penis with defendant’s mouth
- Did tie a string around the informant’s penis
- Did shove a rag into the informant’s mouth
- Did tie the informant’s lips shut with string
- Did display a gun to the informant and state to the informant in sum and substance, “you’d better not tell your parents, or I’ll kill you and your family.”

Menachem Mendel Deutsch Does the Hat Trick
מנחם מענדל דייטש
First appeared in 2013 around the Jewish day of tragedy, the 16th of Tammuz.
Yesterday was a great day for 21-year-old, Hasidic pervert Menachem Deutsch. Two years ago it looked like he was going to spend a lot of time upstate. As reported in the Friday June 24th, 2011 New York Post headline, this “Brooklyn Sicko Lured Young Boys into Shul, Then Molested Them.”
The first victim, who turned 12 on Wednesday [June 22], was walking home from school at around 4 p.m. when he was approached by an unidentified man at Simcha Hall, a… shul [that] serves members of the Belz sect… [one of the largest Hasidic groups in Borough Park]. Continue reading
Eric Aiken** just posted this on his website, Project Jewish Kids. Eric and I have collaborated on this case.
UPDATE 7-20-16 5 pm EST: Since this story was posted on July 3, 2016, the NY Daily News has run a story on him with a picture taken today while which is when he attended court.. They added some details including the fact that he will go to trial later this year and that the prosecution announced it was ready to go to trial.
Please contact me if you have any additional information about Moshe Friedman. If you have any information about criminal activity by Friedman contact the Special Victims Unit of the NYPD at 718 230 4416. Contact them even if the criminal activity occurred outside this jurisdiction or is past the Statute of Limitation. Additional info can help the prosecution. It might even convince Friedman to plead guilty which would spare the victimized boy the ordeal of a trial.
According to the records of the New York State Court system, Moshe Friedman (approximately 31 years old) was arrested in January, 2015 on 2 felony child sexual abuse charges. He is alleged to have abused a young boy at the Bobov (48) yeshiva located at 4206 15th Avenue in Boro Park. I believe he was a special ed teacher, but have not been able to confirm it.
I have a copy of the police report (which I am not free to share). What Friedman is alleged to have done to the boy is indescribably shocking. The report contains the most sadistic child abuse allegations I have ever read other than the Elior Chen abuse case in Israel (Elior Chen – sentenced). The Israeli judge in the Chen case said that it was the worst child abuse case in the history of Israel.
Friedman’s case is still languishing in the Office of the Brooklyn District Attorney while he is out on bail. In spite of the severity of the charges, there is every possibility he will get a sweetheart plea bargain with little or no prison time and perhaps without even getting lengthy probation and placement on the sex offender registry. Unfortunately, the Brooklyn DA exchanges leniency for ultra orthodox political support. Worse yet, Haredi leadership is more interested in protecting offenders than sparing Haredi children.
Charles J Hynes after he lost reelection
“I can’t remember where I left my votes”

As a Jew I am not into Christian versions of resurrection. But Brooklyn is witnessing just such an attempt on behalf of Charles (Joe) Hynes. He just lost the race for the Democratic nomination for Brooklyn District Attorney by eleven points to Kenneth Thompson. Since Brooklyn voter registrations are seventy percent Democratic, you would think that would be the end of it. Even Hynes thought so on election night when he said he would not campaign to get votes even though his name is also on the Republican and Conservative party lines. Joe Hynes also offered Thompson office space for a transition operation. The Daily News credited Hynes with a “Classy Exit.”
Well, the signs are now pointing to another broken promise by Hynes and a shabby return Continue reading
NOTE- This is a revised and expanded version of an earlier post with the same title on Saturday night, March 27, 2010
Sentencing of Baruch (Mordechai) Lebovits for eight Class D Felonies of child sexual assault was originally scheduled for Monday, March 29, Erev Pesach. Supporters of both the defendant and the victim requested a postponement because this is a very difficult day to get to a court house with all the necessary work preceding Passover.
Back when sentencing was set for March 29 I urged my concerned readers to write letters to the judge and to show up in the courtroom. You now have more time to write letters and a more convenient time to show up in court. Once again I urge you to write and show up.
While erev pesach was a terrible time for a court apperance for both sides I think Baruch Lebovits miscalculated Continue reading
